                         Yogyakarta As Student City

Nowadays, we have known that Yogyakarta become student city in Indonesia. It is fact, no fiction. Then, in Yogyakarta you can find 3 state universities. They are Gajah Mada Universitiy, Yogyakarta State University and Islamic State University. Do you know the best state universities in Indonesia ? That is Gajah Mada University. The first place state university in Indonesia. This result from webometric survey 2012 So we must proud about it, because we college in Yogyakarta.

I am going to talk about Yogyakarta as Student City. Then I devide my topic become two points. The first point is positive effect Yogyakarta as student city and the second point is negative effect Yogyakarta as student city.

The first , I will describe about positive effect Yogyakarta as student city. We have known that Yogyakarta is one of destination to study. Many students from Sumatera, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and many other went to Yogyakarta for study. There are 55.770 colleges. According to “ The condition of the yogyakarta sosio-psychological unique”  by Faturorchman  That’s all make Yogyakarta become crowded, but it is make positive effect. Such as, from economic sector. There are many people bulid bording house for college. Because every more and more people study in yogyakrta, then transfer the money that goes to Yogyakarta in that year more than 22 billion dollars. So it is upgrade the economic condition in Yogyakarta because many student come from another city in Indonesia.

The second, I will describe about negative effect Yogyakarta as student city. We have known that too many culture mix in Yogyakarta because so many college from another city with different culture. And it will be Yogyakarta become free city and appear free sex. Research conducted by the Institute for the study of love and Humanity as well as the Humanities and business training center (LSCK PUSBIH) shows almost 97,05 percent of sophomores in Yogyakarta have already lost her virginity while in college. It is very  dangerous. So we as a college , we must be carefull about this.

In conclucion, the positive effect Yogyakarta as student city is can upgrade the economic condition in Yogyakarta, and the negative effect Yogyakarta as student city is too many culture mixed cause  free sex in Yogyakarta. I would recommend the following strategy. The first, we have to make a curve to prevent the free sex. It was the best way. The second, we must increase public servant to more attract college from another city.
